Eating smaller meals often.

A lot of times people think that if they skip breakfast and have just lunch and dinner they will loose weight when in reality you will gain more weight. Your metabolism is kind of like a fire. You don't start a fire with a huge chunk of wood. You typically start it with kindling and and build it up slowly. Once it's going you don't leave it and then toss another chunk of wood on it. You add wood regularly to keep it going.

With our meals, we should eat a decent size breakfast, not gorge ourselves. Between breakfast and lunch and between lunch and dinner its important to have a healthy snack to keep your metabolism burning strongly all day long.

Importance of Exercise

Medical science has proved the importance of exercising for at least 30 minutes a day. Additional study's have proven that exercising on an empty stomach in the morning can burn up to 1 and 1/2 times more fat. Exercise can be very difficult to find time and motivation. One of the easiest ways to exercise even if you don't have access to a gym membership is to walk. Walks in park, walks around a track and walks around the park can be fun, convenient and most importantly healthy.

Some of my personal favorite healthy Foods.

When I eat healthy consistently, I notice a huge difference in my energy level and over all self esteem. Some of my favorite healthy breakfast foods are egg whites, fresh fruit and whole wheat homemade bread. For lunch, a quick cheap and healthy meal is a can of tuna or canned chicken breast with a little low fat BBQ Sauce. One of my favorite snacks to have between meals is edamame. Lots of protein for those looking to beef up. For dinner, baked chicken breast with a fresh spinach salad is excellent and very low fat. For more health ideas for meals, click here.
